"BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAM" PROGRAMME

KOTA MARUDU: The "Believe in Your Dream" program was held at the Multipurpose Hall of Kampung Gana Kota Marudu on 10th March 2024. The event was organized by the Sabah Rubber Industry Board (SRIB) and the Sports, Recreation, and Welfare Club of SRIB.
The program was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datuk Hendrus Anding - Deputy Minister 1 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food Industry of Sabah, accompanied by Datuk Edward Linggu J.P - Chairman of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board, Tuan Sabdil Tanjong - Director-General of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board, Tuan Eswadi Bin Roslan - President of the Sports, Recreation, and Welfare Club of LIGS, and Tuan Marshal Anthony@Idham - Assistant District Officer of Kota Marudu.

The "Believe In Your Dream" program is an awareness and training program for parents aimed at fostering enthusiasm and emphasizing education as a vehicle for change, as explained by Yang Berhormat Minister Datuk Hendrus Anding that the "Believe In Your Dream" program is not just a program; it is a manifestation of dreams and hopes for a brighter future for our children. Through this program, we strive to instill spirit and motivation in the children of Kampung Gana to see education as the key to success and sustainable self-development.

Additionally, Datuk Edward Linggu J.P, as the Chairman of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board, emphasized that education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is an inspiration that empowers individuals to change their fate and their community. At SRIB, we recognize the importance of education in shaping a bright future for every child in Kampung Gana. This statement was also supported by Tuan Sabdil Tanjong, the Director-General of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board, urging all parents to commit together, not just to witness changes in the education of the children of KG Gana, but to be a part of that change.

The Deputy Minister also had the opportunity to visit the INTAN (People's Income Initiative) farm and was very pleased with the success of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board in implementing large-scale projects like this because it provides employment opportunities, especially for the residents of Kampung Gana.
